Sorry to keep pestering ya'll, but....
I gotta admit... I really don't like fundraising. This is the fifth year I've signed up for this ride, and all my friends & family are sick of me begging them to part with their precious cash.I feel like that person that stands outside your local supermarket, with a little table, that makes you feel guilty about blind kids or kids in Africa that don't have access to clean drinking water.
When I initially signed up for this ride in 2020, my grandfather Imerio was battling cancer on two fronts. A atypical stubborn Italian-born hardworking Aussie, he continued to fight this disease. A year later—a week before Christmas 2021—Imerio lost that fight.
So here I am—still occasionally donning the Lycra, still riding my bike, still trying to raise funds for the work the Medical Researchers do at the Perkins, in hope that one day Cancer will be a non-lethal disease, and that maybe even one day, it might just be curable.
So if you can give anything at all, I'd greatly appreciate it. And if you're into blokes wearing Lycra, flick me a DM and maybe we can arrange some saucy pics in exchange for some donations.
