I’m riding to beat cancer
So as almost everyone who knows my family is aware that my mum is on her way to completing breast cancer treatments, so I will be joining my dad in riding 200km to raise money for research. I never understood the impacts cancer has on a whole community, let alone the family, until she was diagnosed. We may not be professional bike riders but watching mum power through the last year has given both my dad and I the encouragement to raise money for this cause to find a cure. Also Dad may need my help at his age to get to the end. Please, if you are able to donate to help me reach my fundraising goal I will be greatly appreciative, If a cure can be found then one day other sons like myself may never have to go through what our family has endured.
I have chosen to support the brilliant brains at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. These WA researchers are committed to finding answers faster and developing ground-breaking treatments for the hardest to treat cancers.
I’d be so grateful for your support.
Together, we can help make cancer history.
