Pedalling for a purpose !

As some friends will remember Jeff rode the ride to conquer cancer some years ago. We had friends that had battled with cancer in particular breast cancer.

In recent years more friends & Family have had to face cancer, in particular Breast cancer, Melanoma, Lymph and Gynecological. It’s inconceivable to imagine what these family have been through and are still going through. 

We have committed to raising funds to help find a cure to this unrelenting disease, as unfortunately my own sister Elaine faces a battle of her own, as recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and is facing Chemotherapy and Targeted therapy for the next few months. 

We're so proud to be riding this challenge as a family. Our team "Just Keep Peddlin" includes Billie, Jeff, Cailan and Honor as our team support! 

To all our family and friends in the UK, any donations will automatically be converted to $AUS when you donate through the link, so please help as much as you can, even the cost of one coffee will be appreciated. Any research that leads to a breakthrough will benefit cancer patients all over the world.

I’m on a mission to defeat cancer.

Cancer doesn’t just affect one person, it shakes up families, friends and communities. This year, I will be taking a stand against it. 

On Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 October 2025, I’m joining a community of passionate riders to cycle 200km to raise vital funds for cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Every dollar pushes us closer to breakthroughs at the Perkins where brilliant researchers work tirelessly to find life-saving answers for some of the toughest cancers. But they also need our help to ensure their vital progress continues– no matter what.

 100% of the funds we raise will go back to the Perkins giving cancer researchers the support to continue their life-saving work so that our loved ones can live longer, healthier lives.

The Ride is more than just a test of endurance—it’s about unity. I'll ride alongside an incredible group of people who believe, as I do, that cancer can be conquered. Your support can turn this belief into reality.
