Riding for a Future Without Cancer
Cancer has touched my family, but I’ve been incredibly lucky—every one of my loved ones has survived. The odds could have been different, and I’ve seen firsthand how brutal the fight can be. No one should have to endure that, especially not the next generation.
This year, I’m taking on the Perkins Cancer 200 to help make a difference. My little nephew, Toby, has his whole life ahead of him, and I want to do my part to leave the world a little better for him and others. That’s why I’m committing to ride 200km every fortnight until the event—despite not having been on a bike since I was 18.
I’ve been fortunate with my health, and I believe there’s no better way to show gratitude for that than by supporting those who haven’t been as lucky. Every dollar raised will go directly to life-saving cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, helping brilliant minds push towards breakthroughs that could change lives.
If you can, please donate or share my journey. Together, we can make a real impact and work towards a future where cancer no longer takes our loved ones.
