I’m on a mission to make cancer.non-lethal

There is no one I know that has not been touched by cancer, either personally or by seeing the impact, suffering, fear and distress cancer has caused to a loved one.

Cancer is relentless. It invades bodies and lives and takes a huge physical, emotional and mental toll on those who are diagnosed. This has to change.  To achieve “non-lethal” and kinder treatments, we need cutting edge research to unlock treatments to eradicate the lethality of cancer. This can only be done by raising money to fund brilliant minds.

On Saturday 11 October and Sunday 12 October 2025, in my 3rd year riding, I will pedal alongside my fellow riders who share the dream of making cancer non-lethal. Your support can turn this dream into reality. I will always take young Kayla with me, she is my motivation to keep going. A beautiful young lady who lost her battle with vulval cancer at the age of 24.

I know that the current cost of living crisis is biting people hard, however if you have capacity, I would welcome your donation.

I would love to ride for someone special to you. Please send me a name and a personalised message that I can take on my ride as a bunting of “hearts for hope and healing”

The funds I raise will go to the brilliant minds at the Perkins who are committed to finding breakthroughs that will lead to improved health outcomes for those affected by the hardest-to-treat diseases.

Together, we can conquer cancer.
