Probably overdue to try and give something back

I’m sure those of you who know me a bit figure this is close to home for me, but for those who don’t I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma close to a decade ago and went through a round of chemo treatment at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth. I’ve been on remission and clear for years now, and have had the opportunity to live a lovely and healthy life well beyond what I expected to back then. A lot of organisations and people helped us out back then (besides the doctors and nurses on my treating team) and I’ve given into a little bit of the residual guilt, wanting  to try and give something back.

I’m pretty fitness obsessed these days, so the opportunity to combine one of my other obsessions cycling and being able to do it for a good cause was a prime opportunity. No guilt trips or any bollocks like that, but if you want to chuck us a pints worth of money to help out it’s all appreciated!
